Description
The Lingnerterrassen in the Lingnerschloss (castle) in Dresden offers cuisine that should not be reserved only for the rich. Whilst guests enjoy the spectacular view over Dresden and marvel at the Dresden Elbe Valley, head chef, Mike Schilde, welcomes them with classic and innovative creations, but most importantly good hearty dishes. Visitors to the Lingnerterrassen can enjoy tasty delights on offer, such as, tender pork loin in Cognac cream sauce with potato croquettes and seasonal vegetables; crispy fried pike perch fillet in a Riesling-wine mousse, with cucumber and tomato salad; and creamy potato ragout, or potato cakes made with cottage cheese and cinnamon sugar, and homemade apple mousse. For pancake lovers, there is a great choice of pancakes with all types of sweet and savory varieties. Guests can also indulge in fresh homemade profiteroles. In accordance with the legacies of Karl August Lingner, the Lingnerterrassen is a place for all inhabitants and visitors to Dresden, where they can combine culinary delights with cultural pleasure.

The Lingnerterrasse is one of my most beautiful places in Dresden. Simply wonderful to look over Dresden in the sun. If you bring some peace and quiet and carefully observe the sandstone blocks, you will also be able to observe the lizards on the walls, which also enjoy sunbathing.

Overpriced and completely disorganized, waited 25 min, then finally: at 20h the white wine was exhausted. Hello! I would have thought that after the liberalization of the Corona rules there was an interest in making sales. Here complete no report. Additional: When the change was handed over, the waitress charged 5 € in your favor. Has happened to me in the same place before. Tip: Make sure you visit this place because of the view, but please don't be hungry or thirsty.

Price performance (especially with the food) do not fit at all. Alone the good view compensates something.
